Creative Director

The ideal candidate possesses both a highly developed creative aesthetic, strong leadership skills, and must be at ease managing a team of Department Supervisors and artists.  Must be well versed in both stylized and realistic projects.   • Ensure that the quality of imagery created is up to studio standards
  • Work with CCO to advance ongoing intellectual property initiatives that include Development for Feature Films, Episodic Television, and Children’s Books
  • Provide creative oversight for client based projects through daily reviews with project leads
  • Ability to articulate clear creative direction and translate to actionable feedback
  • Acts as ultimate arbiter and decision maker on creative debates for projects assigned
  • Work in conjunction with production management to meet deadlines and motivate your team to do the same
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to develop creative briefs for campaigns and projects
  • Define project scope and manage creative based on budget requirements.
  • Correspond with client on how to achieve their vision
  • Assist in supporting and evolving the studio with constructive feedback both technically and artistically
  • Working on related projects and tasks as required
  • Advance and champion the founders’ vision of the studio

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Film, Media, Communications, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a creative leadership role as a Director at a game company, or branded content production company
  • A portfolio demonstrating a track record of delivering highly creative and effective content for Fortune 500 brands
  • Must have a passion for film, animation, and video games
  • Strong composition and staging knowledge
  • Well versed in multiple production methodologies (2D, 3D, Motion Graphics Etc.)
  • Ability to lead by inspiring both artists and production leads
  • Experience pitching and executing creative ideas for existing projects and or new prospective clients
  • Ability to work efficiently and drive productivity with a team in a challenging environment
  • Proactivity, drive, grit, determination and creative problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to drive improvements in processes and pipeline
